Music Hyun in "Music" from Spork
Music Hyun, pictured above, totally rocks Spork’s latest offering. “Music” combines a low-rise paisley skirt with a complementing tank for a look that’s loose and light. The tank has well-defined ribbing, with an elongating deep-V neckline. The skirt is loose fitting, for a cool, casual feel. The skirt comprises three prims, so not much worry about your legs breaking through. The skirt rides low on the hips, showing a little midriff. Maybe it will catch the eye of that special someone? The outfit comes accessorized with the coolest set of bangles for both left and right forearms, a necklace with onyx stones on your choice of a gold, silver, or copper chain (the set includes all three metals), and my favorite, a sexy beaded belly chain, also in three metals. (Belly chains sometimes don’t fit much better than hula hoops, but GM has carefully contoured this one to the shape of a woman’s hips.) The tank and skirt are available in blue, green, red, teal, and umber. Just in time for you to waltz into spring, with that adorable skirt swaying from your hips!

Judy Sweater – Victoria bushfire relief, originally uploaded by GM Nikolaidis.
We’re bringing back the Judy sweater in magenta for a limited time, to benefit the victims of the Victorian bushfire. At present count, 181 lives have been lost in this terrible event.
You can help by doing what you probably are already doing. Shopping. On the LVS Drive sim, RavenLynn Templar has set up an area for vendors to put items out for sale, the proceeds of which will go to benefit the victims. Come visit the area, and even if you don’t see something you want to purchase, there is a donation kiosk in the center of the pavillion. Thank you :)

It just started out being a simple virtual sweater with a generic name. Barbara made a suggestion that we name it “Judy”.
Judy was Barbara’s best friend. They grew up in Newfoundland and were practically sisters. When Barbara moved to Georgia for our wedding, they stayed in touch constantly. They would mail packages full of treats to each other. Judy would send chocolate candy that you could only get up north, and Barbara would send unusual advertising pens which Judy collected, and other souvenirs from the south. There was no way that geography would prevent these two best friends from sharing their everyday life moments. A few years after we were married Judy confided in Barbara that she had cancer. Chemo treatments kept the disease in check for a while, but in 2002 Judy lost the battle.
Now, the little virtual sweater has a purpose. It’s pink, of course, and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this sweater will go to benefit “Susan G. Komen for the Cure (c)”. You can also go directly to the website we set up and make a donation in Judy’s honor.

So yesterday I got a fashcon notice about some new ankle boots from Bax Coen. I knew that Barb loved the black pair she had, so I tp’d to the store to see the new suede version and purchased the giftable version.
Barb tried them on and then the search began for something to wear with them. She didn’t have a lot (shocking!) in any shades of brown, so a few hours later and a new version of Flight was born.
